Our Mission & Philosophy
About St. Mary
At St. Mary Catholic School, we partner with parents to provide a faith-filled, academically excellent education rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and modeled after Mary, our Blessed Mother. We cultivate a nurturing environment where students grow in virtue, excel in scholarship, and learn to joyfully serve others. Led by a passionate faculty and staff, and supported by our vibrant parish community, we are committed to forming disciples prepared to lead and serve in today’s world.
Our Mission
We partner with parents in providing a Catholic education deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, modeled by Mary our mother. We encourage students to live virtuous lives according to the Catholic faith while pursuing academic excellence.
Our Philosophy
St. Mary School proclaims the Gospel through education, faith, and service. We foster a community where Gospel virtues are formed, experienced, and lived. Students are immersed in the beauty of our Catholic tradition through prayer, sacramental life, Eucharistic adoration, and daily opportunities to encounter Christ. We strive for academic excellence while forming good stewards of the gifts God has given—time, talent, and treasure—for his glory.
Our Core Values
Worship
Worship is at the heart of who we are. Through the Mass, prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and liturgical celebrations, students encounter the presence of God and learn to center their lives on Him. Worship grounds our community in faith and unites us in love for Christ and His Church.
Academic Excellence
We are committed to forming both the mind and the soul. Our academic program is rooted in truth and excellence, helping students grow intellectually while discovering how their faith illuminates every subject. Learning at St. Mary’s is preparation for both success in life and holiness in vocation.
Partnership
At St. Mary School, our core purpose is to bring Jesus to the center of the life of each family. We are committed to partnering with parents and supporting them in their role as their children’s primary educators in the faith. This allows their children to “effectively live a fully human life” (John Paul II, Familiaris Consortio 36). Jesus wants to be at the center of the culture of every family. We are committed to coming alongside parents to help them in this way at home and to making Jesus the center of our school culture as well.
